Eric Darjean – Jesus, baseball, and a passion for serving broken people like myself led me to start Pillar Church in 2019. I am originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where for 17 years, I was shaped and molded by sports and supportive parents. Though baseball was my love growing up, it was basketball that God used to share his Love for me. A local high school youth group invited students to play basketball every Wednesday night in hopes of sharing the Gospel. One of those conversations changed my life.
I graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 2001 after five years of baseball and a little schooling mixed in. In college, I began to love teaching the Bible and sharing the salvation found in Jesus.
After school, I continued to play baseball but soon met my wife Linda, we married in 2005. We now have five children, Hannah, Davontee (my nephew), Abigail, Joshua, and Levi. Along with being the Associate Pastor at Pillar Church, I own a baseball training business called Darjean Fundamentals. Additionally, Tarrant Baptist Association asked me to serve as their Church Starting Residency Coordinator.
Kaynenn and I started Pillar church with a desire to spread God’s love in East Fort Worth. We only want to play our small part in serving the city sharing the Love of God in His Son, Jesus Christ.
